THE PURPLE HOUSE: A STORY
“Is Life itself a dream, I wonder?”
-Lewis Carroll, Sylvie and Bruno
Some homes are built. Others are conjured.
Set upon 36 private acres in Plymouth, The Purple House is not merely a structure, but a portal to imagination—an architectural spell cast in steel, glass, and wood. Designed over the course of three years, and brought to life with obsessive attention to detail, it stands as both sanctuary and spectacle: a place where art, history, and modern comfort intertwine.

THE ARRIVAL
Visitors are greeted by a stage of sorts: a sculptural fountain announces your arrival, a grand archway gracefully invites you inward, and the foyer unfurls with a dazzling crystal centerpiece—part chandelier, part cosmic compass. With one ring of the doorbell a whimsical summons beckons, every detail indicating that you have crossed into a world apart.
THE GATHERING
The main level is one continuous breath of light and view, framed by floor-to-ceiling windows that transform the pond and private wetlands into living art. A two-sided circular fireplace flickers between the lounge and nest room, while a custom bar rail seems destined for football Sundays, cold drinks, sweet treats, and midnight storytelling. Even the lights are characters of their own—some controlled by submarine dials, others pulsating and shifting hues. A sense of narrative fills the air as disco balls, custom ceilings, and ornate geometry draw your eyes through the looking glass.
DINING AS RITUAL
The dining room glows beneath hand-blown glass lights. Custom chairs—each an irreplaceable work of late designer—await guests around a bespoke table, inlaid as if encased in ice. Sandblasted door panels are etched like starlight, inviting gatherings that feel equal parts feast and convocation.
The adjacent chef’s kitchen is an amphitheater of granite, twin refrigerators, and double ovens: spacious enough for both culinary alchemy and enchanted conversation. Orchestrated for both beauty and function, the space moves with you, perhaps over to the full wet bar, panel fans humming dreamily overhead.
PORTALS OF PLAY AND PROFESSION
Step into the office and you’ll find a desk fashioned from a vintage car, horn synced to the doorbell. A nearby bathroom displays walls of steampunk piping and gadgetry—you can almost hear the hiss and clank of mechanicals.
Halfway up the stairway, time seems to pause. A landing unfolds into a gallery suspended between levels, prisms of light catching the glittering bespoke paint and chandelier made of bicycle parts. This curated dreamscape ascends like a private art show, constellations of relics and curiosities dotting the halls.

THE PRIMARY REALM
The owner’s suite exists in its own dimension: enjoy a custom-built bed and throne-like seating chamber, perfect for welcoming dawn’s first light.
Further inside a hot tub glitters with surrounding sparkling grout. The ensuite bathroom is a grotto of grooming, complete with dramatic views above the soaking tub, and a bordering two-way shower and exercise/meditation room—an indoor-outdoor sanctuary that blends spa, gym, and starlit escape. A vast closet, boutique dressing room, and craft-laundry sanctum transform routine into ceremony.
This all-inclusive suite is truly a place to luxuriate—a private kingdom of comfort and renewal.

WORLDS WITHIN WORLDS
Children’s rooms were designed not as afterthoughts, but as stages for fantasy and imagination: kids can enjoy lofted beds, secret doors, movie nooks, and whimsical windows that overlook the grand stair.
A third-floor retreat hides behind a vintage Coca Cola refrigerator, complete with kitchenette and a celestial mural that spans the entire ceiling. A playful nod to Prohibition and aviator suitcase bathroom also bring history to life on the upper landing.
Meanwhile the lower-level suite offers ADA-compliant design: a full kitchen, 3 bedrooms, jack and jill bathroom, separate laundry closet, private garage, and its own entry—ideal for grandparents, guests, or extended family.
THE LAND BEYOND
Beyond its walls, The Purple House breathes outward into 36 acres of pond, meadow, and forest — a dream made landscape. Nine acres of high ground offer space for play and creation, while mature trees stand as guardians of privacy. As the sun sinks, the western horizon scatters gold across sky and water. Trails thread through the preserve, inviting quiet wandering. By nightfall a spotlight from the deck gleams in the dark, as though keeping vigil between worlds.

THE N3XT GUARDIAN
The Purple House is not just a residence—it is a story waiting for its next storyteller. The address (5160) hums with the numerological energy of creativity, joy, and expression.
While some homes keep you grounded, others invite you to cross thresholds.
The Purple House does both.
